A Philippine Air Force Huey UH-1H helicopter crashed in the afternoon hours of January 16, killing all seven personnel onboard.
According o local reports, the helicopter crashed in the Bukidnon province on a supply flight to a forward operations base.
The likely cause of the crash was an engine malfunction that led the helicopter into a nose dive before crashing.
Troops secured the crash site and retrieved the bodies of four air force personnel, in addition to an army soldier and two militiamen, according to Associated Press.
A Huey helicopter crash in July last year claimed the lives of four Philippine Air Force members.
