The UK defense ministry has published its long-awaited integrated review of security, defense, development and foreign policy, which has been referred to as the most comprehensive survey of the UK’s foreign policy since the end of the Cold War.

The document addresses a number of topics ranging from the UK’s stance on geo-political issues to military capability considerations.

One of the most covered revelation of the review is the country’s increase of the nuclear stockpile from 180 warheads to as many as 260.

Other topics covered include the establishment of a new space command by the summer 2021 as well as an increase in surface warships to 24 escorts by 2030.
